There are 30 church buildings in the Saybuli district of Laos, but local officials recognise only seven of them; the other 23 are therefore considered illegal. A 50-year-old building in Nadaeng village was seized by the authorities in January. Local Christians had been told to stop using the building for all religious activities from 5 December 2011, but they had defied the order. This building and another have now been confiscated. Pray that none of the other churches will lose their building, and that they will be allowed to meet and worship in peace.
