UAE royals attend UK halal export talks

Royal guests from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have visited
the UK to discuss ways of boosting halal meat exports to the Middle
East.
The move to generate interest in the Middle East market comes after
the UAE lifted a ban on British meat exports following outbreaks of
foot and mouth disease in 2001, which had a devastating impact on
the country's agriculture and economy.
