Large-scale anti-Christian rioting is all too frequent in parts of Nigeria. Hundreds of people were killed in such an incident in Jos, Plateau State, in November 2008, which many churches and Christian homes damaged or destroyed. Then in February 2009 further violence erupted in Bauchi, the capital of Bauchi State. The most recent incident occurred in Jos in January 2010. Barnabas Fund helps the victims of these and similar incidents.
