Partnership with Barnabas

Volunteer as a Barnabas Partner

Zimbabwe-5X3.jpg

In Philippians chapter 1, Paul calls Christians to partner with him in his ministry. There are various ways in which you can partner with Barnabas Aid in our ministry to our persecuted brothers and sisters. Through the prayers and generosity of our supporters, and with God’s help, Barnabas is able to transform the lives of Christians suffering for their faith in over 80 different countries.

Supporter resources

We have collected together in one place articles and resources which will be useful to anyone seeking to present Barnabas Aid and its work to their church - in person or via the web. We thank God for the hard work and active support so many have given over the years. Barnabas Aid could not achieve all that it does if it were not for the generosity of its supporters, in terms of time, prayer and gifts, and by the grace of God. We hope that this section will make it a little bit easier to find the resources needed to continue to be active on behalf of the persecuted church around the world.

    • As the Syrian civil war rages on, the militant Islamist group the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) now controls extensive territory in eastern Syria. The group is acutely hostile to Christians, who are suffering grievous oppression under its rule. The US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) has named Syria as one of the world’s worst violators for the first time, saying that the crisis “has devolved largely into a sectarian conflict” and “represents one of the worst situations in the world for religious freedom”, with abuses being committed by all sides. Before the war, it was easier to be a Christian in Syria than almost anywhere else in the Arab world. Pray that the US and other Western governments will continue to work for a resolution of the conflict and for religious freedom for all Syria’s citizens.
