Save the date: 1 November
Barnabas prayer day for persecuted Church
Barnabas Aid is planning a Day of Prayer for the persecuted Church on Thursday 1 November and invites you to save the date to be part of this important international event.
As part of our Proclaim Freedom campaign, we are encouraging Christians around the world to dedicate time on 1 November 2012, individually and/or in a group, to pray for our brothers and sisters who are suffering because of their faith in Christ.
You could arrange a prayer event at your church or with Christian family and friends. Tell us about it here.
We will provide a prayer guide with pointers on specific countries, and you will be able to follow the Day of Prayer on our Facebook page.
You could also plan to join us at our Prayer Summit. Further details will follow nearer the time.
Dr Patrick Sookhdeo, International Director of Barnabas Fund, said:
We believe in a God who listens to and answers prayer, and cares for His people as a father does His children. It is a great privilege for us to be able to lift up to the Lord our brothers and sisters who are suffering for His name, so please do remember this Day of Prayer and start to think about how you and your church could be involved.
