Day of Prayer for the persecuted Church

Praise God for the indigenous believers in Bahrain, where all citizens are defined as Muslims, and pray for spiritual growth among the various groups of Christians there. Pray for them especially in the aftermath of the uprisings and anti-government protests in early 2011; ask the Lord to heal any physical or emotional wounds they have sustained. Give thanks that the king has recently given some land for the building of a new church, and pray for greater religious freedom. Ask the Lord to give His people courage to witness to His great love.
