Projects > Food and Basic Needs

Christians in the Holy Land are caught in the cross-fire of a conflict not of their making. Almost all had jobs in the tourist business and have therefore been unemployed since 2000 when the current uprising began. Although some agencies help other Palestinians, very little help is given to Christians. The Barnabas Fund seeks to fill this gap with practical help to meet their most urgent needs, particularly food and electricity bills.A typical family is given £20 a month, but extra goes to families where there is serious illness.
