Projects > Christian Schools

Bangladesh has a large Muslim majority and in this context, it is very difficult for Christian children to thrive in government schools, which may be strongly anti-Christian and may discriminate against them. This project supports two remarkable schools, which maintain a Christian ethos and provide Christian teaching for children in robust, purpose-built classrooms with clean water and latrines — a luxury in their rural context. Barnabas Fund has provided grants to pay for needs including teaching materials, stationery, school uniforms, benches for the classrooms, teachers' salaries.
