Projects > North Korea General Fund

Christians in communist North Korea endure extremely harsh and repressive conditions; it is probably the most dangerous place in the world to be a Christian. Approximately 400,000 Christians who live there suffer much for their faith; perhaps as many as 70,000 are in prison camps, which are notorious for their brutality and torture and dissenters are routinely executed. The country as a whole is isolated and its people are oppressed and are on the verge of starvation. The North Korea General Fund is used to give financial assistance to projects that help North Korean Christians, but that cannot be publicised without putting lives at risk.
