Kenya Coronavirus (COVID-19) 30 March 2020

Nairobi

From a senior pastor

“NAME WITHHELD community currently suffers from the stigma of having the first Covid19 positive case in Kenya. The economic effects of the virus bit quite early with hundreds of vegetable buyers retreating early in the month.

“COVID19 continues to bite in ways we expected and others we never anticipated. Some of our congregants who live in slum-like areas have requested for prayers that God may open doors in their very ugly situations. Some lost their jobs upon debut of the Covid19, others have lost livelihood from small businesses, while some have relatives quarantined as a result of interacting with suspected patients- A key leader of our men ministry is one forcibly quarantined. The infected in Kenya today stands at 42 with an increase almost every day.”
